Ottawa orders binding arbitration for Air Canada-union dispute to end flight attendants’ strike

Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu said she has invoked Section 107 of the Canada Labour Code to allow binding arbitration between the airline and its union and has ordered operations to resume — although it’s not immediately clear when the 10,000 flight attendants will return to work.
