Canada’s spy agency had “extensive” interest in the Gustafsen Lake standoff in B.C. in 1995, keeping tabs on developments in a previously secret investigation into “Native extremism,” newly declassified documents show. The papers are bringing new information, and questions, to light 30 years later.
